Dr. AlAnoud-is a renowned academic and activist from Kuwait. Dr Alanoud has written extensively and won awards for her writing on her specialist area - Arab Feminist Theory. She was honoured by the Doha Institute in 2014 for Best Publication in a Foreign Journal, and she also won the Voices of Success Kuwait award in 2012.  In 2016  Dr. Alanoud was awarded a National Order of Merit from France in recoginition of her work promoting women's rights.She was also chosen as one of the 100 most influential and inspiring women in the world by the BBC in 2019.
